I'm Cam. And I'm Jennifer. And you're listening to Coffee In The Park with Jennifer and Cam. Good morning, everybody, and welcome to the second edition of the Coffee In The Park with Jennifer and Cam, second edition of the New Year. Hello, Jennifer. Hello, Cam. Well, Happy New Year. Happy New Year. Yes. Yeah, it is kind of New Year. Yeah. Well, this is technically our first recording of the New Year because... the one we dropped. True enough. Yes, because we pre-recorded. Yes, we pre-recorded before Christmas. So, you're right. This is our very first recording of 2026 and... Well, okay, I have to stop you right there because I've already written 2025. I know, eh? Too many times. Me too. It's like, how long does that take? They say you have to do it seven times. Seven. Till it sinks in. Oh. But with me, so you double everything. So that would be like 14 times. Anyways, yes, it is 2026, and as usual, we are coming to you live from the Wall Coffee Roasters in the heart of beautiful downtown Acheson. And Jennifer, I'm just going to say, today, beautiful downtown Acheson is looking quite extraordinary with the sun shining. Well, finally. I know. It is a little cool, but it's supposed to warm up today. And I know we talk about this a lot on the podcast, and people who don't live around here, they're like, what's the big deal? The big deal is when it's been minus 20 degrees. Over the Christmas break, I have to say it, it was terrible. The weather was horrendous. It was the sixth in history. I don't know if I can say in history, but the sixth most, the sixth... Snowiest? There, that's the word. The sixth snowiest day we've had since they've been keeping records. Since 2004, I think they said, was the last time we got this much snow in this short of time period. It's crazy. It was unreal. So we have so much snow here. The snow piles, snow mounds are so high from shoveling driveways and things like that. You had quite the adventure this morning, even getting here. Oh, did I ever? Do you want to talk about that? I do want to talk about this. If any city officials are listening, Jennifer has something to say to you. From the city of Spruce Grove. That's right. I'm calling it out. Not that we're not going to name it, but okay. Too bad, I'm naming it! Listen, I appreciate that you plowed my residential road this morning. However, what I didn't appreciate was the fact that you were doing this during prime morning rush hour. Right, when everybody's leaving and going to work. Everybody's leaving trying to get out. And a plow comes down my street and leaves. And I'm talking a giant windrow right in front of my driveway. A windrow is a pile of snow. A huge, and ice. And ice. Yeah, chunks of ice. So they're grading the road and pushing all the snow to the side right in front of your driveway. In front of everybody's driveway. And you had a little trouble getting out. I only know this because you were texting me. You know, I could just, of course, texts are just, there's no inflection, but I could just feel the inflection coming off that text. You were not happy. My neighbor was laughing at me as I was out there with my shovel and throwing chunks of snow, and it was not even making a dent. So for those of you who are listening to this that live in very warm places, this is, you have no idea of what we face here when this happens. It's like, the streets are... At one point, they were almost impassable. If you didn't have an SUV or a four wheel drive, you couldn't get through it. I agree. And they were really bumpy and it was hard to, like you say, pass and it was... I live, you live in Spruce Grove, I live in the city of Edmonton. I heard on the news this morning, it's going to take 14 days to plow the residential streets. And you said, it's already terrible getting out. It's like driving on a washboard. Yeah, that's it. My car is... And again, you get in a rut and there's ice underneath. Nothing you can do. Nothing you can do. Unbelievable. Anyways, that's our first world dilemma here in Alberta, here in Edmonton. But that being said, we are at the Wall Coffee Roasters. And hey, if you've never been to the Wall Coffee Roasters, you need to come. Great place. And we're excited to be back for 2026. I heard there's some breaking news at the Wall Coffee Roasters. They're introducing something new. Can we say it or not yet? I don't know. I have to. I think I need to confirm before we announce it. You don't want to announce that rumor? No, I don't want to. Because if it doesn't happen, then it's... Well, you know how rumors are. It's like, you know... We could, but no, I'm not going to... Stay tuned. Yeah, stay tuned. Cam will confirm. We need to get... That's right. Because we need this spot to record the podcast, and if I... That's right. We don't want to get kicked out. We don't want to get kicked out. But that being said, we are happy to tell you about our sponsors for the Coffee In The Park podcast with Jennifer and Cam for 2026. Of course, it's Wing Snob. Yes, Wing Snob, where the wings are fresh, never frozen. And you know what? You know this first hand over this Christmas season because... Yes, because we went to Wing Snob and... you took. Wait, I tried something else. I tried a new wing. Okay, wait a minute. Talk about the wings because I'm trying to remember what flavor it was I had. Well, I'm bringing this up because your mom was in town visiting, and you took your mom to Wing Snob. Well, we went to Wing Snob and it was good. And she said it was really good. Well, wings are delicious. I'm telling you right now, if your mom says it's good, it's good. I'm just saying. If Mrs. Herrick said it was a good wing, it's a good wing. Ten locations. Ten locations throughout Edmonton. One in Calgary. One in Calgary, and I think there's one opening up up in Grand Prairie or something like that. Anyway, but hey, listen, go to www.wingsnob.ca. The best wings, like Jennifer said, fresh, never frozen. Sixteen flavors, four rubs. Their garlic fries, their cornbread. Oh, they have, it's amazing. So if you've never been to Wing Snob, you need to check out Wing Snob for some 2026 wings. That's right. And Cam, we would like to thank our other major supporter, which is Mprint, let's go now, say M. Print, not Im, just Mprint. Sign and Print Solutions here in beautiful Acheson. They do amazing work. They really do. We know that, again, personally, this Christmas, they do incredible work, and I'm very happy to be associated with them. I'm happy they're here in Acheson. And whatever your printing needs, whether it's a brochure or business cards or a booklet or if you need something wrapped, they'll wrap it. Well, Cam, I want people to check out our Instagram page because there they'd see some of the work that Jan and Don did for us. Your water bottle. And your bobble head dolls. Unbelievable. Check it out. They'll do any, you know what? We've asked them to do all kinds of different things. And they've never said no to us. So if you, whatever you're printing needs, whatever you have for 2026, you need to get something done. You give them a call. They're here in Acheson, but they'll go anywhere. They'll even do work out of province, out of city, whatever it is. Just connect with them, www.Mprint.ca. That's right. And they'll, yeah. Amazing. Amazing job. Great people. Dan, or Don and Jan. Great people. And great to work with. And I love it. So thanks for being sponsors of Coffee In The Park. So, um, 2026. Cam, I have a question. Yes. Do you make New Year's Resolutions? No, because I break them, like, if I make them on January 1st, I break them on January 2nd. I know. Me too. Do you? No, I don't. No. No. I sit back and I think about things I want to do in the coming year. I agree. That maybe I need to change. Like, I don't know. But that doesn't work out really good. You know what I always say? Yeah. I'm going to eat better in 2026. I know. I say that too. And then a couple weeks in... But I ate so bad over Christmas. Like, I just ate and ate and ate. It will take me at least a year to get over what I did at Christmas. So I just said forget it. Let's talk about your turkey. Oh, 25 pound turkey from Ben's Meats. We've had Dave on here as a guest. And I'm telling you, my cousin Chuck, shout out to Chuck and Shirley. But it was Chuck who deep fried the turkey. Unbelievable. But you were a little ticked off. There were no leftovers. No leftovers, because the turkey is so good. And our family numbers were just a tad down this year because of flu and weather and things like that. Holy smokes were people sick. I know. But somehow the biggest turkey we ever had and it all went. But it's because it was so good. And so first of all, thank you, Dave at Ben's, and then thank you, Chuck, for doing a great turkey. I loved it. But no leftovers. Wasn't happy about that. He did send me home with like a bag of bones. Did you make soup? No, I just gnawed on the bones. I know. I know. It was sad. But anyway, they were so good. So yeah. And yeah. So yeah, it was it was great. Yeah. But it's you know, I ate too much. I did. I ate too much. So in the new year, you're right. I got to eat better. We always say that. I know. It goes downhill. It does. Like when I brought donuts from the Donut Mill the other day. I know. See, everything was good until you. I started off... So that was that was on Monday. What was so today's like the sixth? Today's Tuesday. That was the fifth. You brought that box of donuts. It's like, OK, well, see, this is what... But when through Red Deer. One must, must stop at the Donut Mill. If you're going through Red Deer, you have to stop. But to your point, this is why you don't make New Year's resolutions. Because as I was sitting there, stuffing my face with the orange cream donut, which was amazing, I'm saying to myself, scrap any, any, any, any resolution. I said we should do chair yoga at lunch. And you laughed. I laughed because chair yoga. What is that? Oh, now we're going to get email."I do chair yoga every day." I did see on Instagram, there was a thing that if you did chair yoga 10 minutes every day for like a month, you'd lose like 50 pounds. And I'm like, I don't think so. I don't know about that. I know I may be exaggerating the 50 pounds, but I'm just saying they said you could lose a lot of weight. You know I saw it on... You know you're scrolling the channels for those that still have cable. I know, very few do. Yeah, I know. PBS, the public broadcast system. Oh, they're done. Are they done? They announced yesterday they're done. Yeah, because they didn't get it. No more chair yoga. Can we, talking about PBS? Did you ever watch that painter guy? Bob Ross. Bob Ross. I used to watch Bob Ross. I know. I loved Bob Ross. Oh, look at the little bird. Okay, so that's Bob. That was amazing. So no more, hey? Yeah, no more. Anyways, so we're, sorry, sorry to interupt, where were you going with it? You're scrolling through the channels and? Well, that's where my chair yoga came from. Oh, I don't, I just, I don't want to try it even. I feel like I'll injure myself somehow in chair yoga. I don't know. Anyways, so yeah, so yeah, but here we are into 2026. We are. What does the year hold? Well, obviously roasting. Obviously, obviously, whatever you hear in the back, they're roasting today in the background. Well, that's a good sign. That is a good sign. Roasting. Yeah, it'll be a nice smell outside. Better than the... The dog... I won't say it. Okay, sorry. I'm not to say that. If I had to make a resolution... One of my resolutions would be to not say things I shouldn't say. Well, that won't change, though. That's already... That's already broken. Okay. So, 2026, what are we looking forward to? You have sitting here, the old Farmers' Almanac. No, it's the new Farmers' Almanac. No, I know, but it says, look here, the old Farmers'... 2026 Almanac. So, how can it be old? I know. But it's been around forever. And we've been reading through this because we want to see what weather looks like. Yes. Because again, we're living in like the deep freeze with like... I want to see if it's accurate or not. Right. Yeah. So... Do you want to know? Yeah. Talk amongst yourselves. You've been reading it all morning. The weather, our horoscopes, everything. I know. Okay. I'm going to give you the summary. Of? This is weather? Of weather for Region 4, the prairies. We're Region 4? Yeah. We're the prairies. I guess. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Well, I don't know if I believe this. You can't say that. You're reading the Farmers' Almanac. Wait. Wait. Wait. Winter will be warmer than normal. Well, that hasn't transpired. Well, okay. But in all fairness, it says 2026. And we're only a few days into 2026. This is true. With above normal precipitation and below normal snowfall. Well, that hasn't happened. But remember, that all happened in 2025. That's true. This is 2026. Yeah. The coldest periods will be in late November, early December, and early February. And the snowiest periods will be in late November and early December. Oh, okay. But of this year? I think so. So we've already done that. We've already done that. Yes, yes. Because some of this is 25 into 26. So that's true. So things are looking up according to the Farmers. Oh, spring's not looking so good. No, no, no, no. April and May cooler and drier than normal. Okay. Summer warmer and wetter than usual. With the hottest period being in late June to mid-August. Okay. To mid-August. Oh, it looks like we're going to have a nice fall. It's warmer in October. Okay. There we go. Good. Thank you. Farmer. Thank you, Farmers' Almanac. How do they know this? You told me this is going to be the last year of the Farmers' Almanac. I heard that. Yeah, I heard that they're not printing it after this year. They're done. So everybody go out and buy a Farmers' Almanac in 2026 because it'll be a collector's item. Maybe. But not if everybody goes and buys it. I guess. But nonetheless. Yeah. So, okay. So things are looking up. Yeah. Hopefully. Yeah. We'll continue to monitor and see what happens. Okay. Good. Anything else in the Farmers' Almanac you want to tell us? You were looking up. You know what? There's so much interesting things in the Farmers' Almanac. You asked what? Oh, so Chinese New Year. Oh, yeah. Chinese New Year. You were talking about that. And that's February the 17th, and it is the year of the horse. Year of the horse. The fire horse. Yeah, because the fire horse is, because it's the year of the fire horse. It's bold and aggressive and independent, and that's what it is. It's, yeah. Maybe we need to have our friend Amy Quon on to tell us more about... My poor friend Amy, I know, she had a little mishap. She fell and hurt herself. It was so icy. Yeah. Well, that's the thing, right? But she's, yeah, I think she's getting better. I hope so. But you're right. We should have Amy. We should call her up one day and just talk about that. Yeah. And then she'll invite us to the Lingnan Chinese New Year. That's always the bonus, isn't it? Yeah, because you get the lion dance and the drums, and you get a little gift, and it's pretty awesome. I know. But you have to give the lion a gift, too. I learned that. Have you done that? Yeah, I did. You put it in its mouth. When he comes to your table, you stick the red pocket money in his mouth, and that's good luck. I was gonna say do you put a fortune cookie in his mouth? Fortune cookie? No. You put money in his mouth, because that brings you good luck. Okay. Yeah. And I'm not going to say how much I put in, because obviously, I'm not going to say it paid off this year. Not really. I need to up the ante a tad. But anyways, so yeah, this is the year of the fire horse. Strong, bold, independent, aggressive. Aggressive. Yeah. Wow. That's what it says. Okay. Yeah. Folks, thanks for listening still. I know this show is a little mishmash. No, because people are saying, I didn't know that. I think anything you listen to, where you walk away going, I didn't know that is beneficial, because you learn something. How many people knew? Well, probably a lot. But how many people knew is the year of the horse? Yeah. I didn't know, till this morning. And how many knew the weather was going to be like this for 2026? Well this is it. And so the things, I believe that our podcast is just full of information. Now, can we just be full transparency? We can. We did have a guest this morning, but they got sick. Well, again, the sickness, the flu, the cold, it's been quite the year. It really has. I don't know where you live, but here in our region, the flu and the cough have been terrible. Terrible. Cam, let's talk about our regime, so that, knock on wood, we're not getting sick. What do you do every morning? I'll tell you what I do. I drink a glass of that. What do you call that? Ener- Ener-C. Ener-C. Ener-G-C. Ener-G-C. Yeah. And I drink that. But I was drinking it yesterday thinking, this is exactly like Orangina that I buy at the Italian Center. It's really good. But anyway, it's loaded with vitamin C. I know. And I don't know if you're supposed to, but there were a couple of days where I doubled up. Oh. Are you supposed to do that? I don't think so. Well maybe. I did because I thought I doubled vitamin C. Maybe. To help ward off this flu. Could be. And you're drinking or you're taking? Well, it's kind of like that, but it's got, I don't remember the name of it, but it's like an elderberry. It's a berry flavor. Elderberry. It's really good. Elderberry. Yeah. And you know what else I think is making the difference? No. Honey. Oh, I have honey every day. I know. I put honey in my tea. I know. And I put it on my toast. But I think there's like properties in honey that like ward off sickness. No, you're absolutely right. And we should contact the bee people that we had on the podcast. Yes, Richard and Amber. Yeah. And they would tell. But it's true. My daughter, she read that if you have a canker sore in your mouth, if you put honey on it, it will take the canker sore away. Honey is amazing. It is amazing. I know. And, you know, the bees are sleeping right now, but they're gonna wake up soon. And we need the bees because apparently honey does a lot of things for health-wise. Health-wise. So you're right. So I have my honey every day. You have your honey. I have my Ener-C. You have your elderberry. Yeah. I never heard of elderberry. I don't know, but it tastes good. Where does... I got to look that up, about the elderberry... I'll bring you a packet. It tastes good. You can try it. But you haven't got sick. No. I haven't got sick. Okay, let's knock on wood because we don't want to get sick. No, that's true. And I know I personally have been in the presence of people who have been sick and you have, and I've actually had them cough all over me. You thought, here you go. Well, they were just little kids. They didn't know. And it was just... but they were coughing, all over you. And you're just like... I walked away going, that's it. I'm getting sick. But my Ener-C, and now you say, my honey, is saving me. I think so. And I would like to say I'm eating better, but I'm not really. You're not really. That Donut Mill doughnut is really warding off the sickness. Maybe the Donut Mill doughnut did ward off the sickness. Well it might be. We don't know. I don't know. It could be stuff in doughnuts that... Apparently, I read over the Christmas break that there's stuff in ice cream. It's okay to have a little bit of ice cream every now and then. It's always okay to have a little bit, unless you're lactose intolerant. That's true. Don't do that. Take the pills. Don't do the straight ice cream. Yeah. Yeah. No. Yeah. So, yeah. I hope I don't get... Well, you know, like you say, knock on wood. We don't want to get it, but it's going around. It's really bad. And so, our guest this morning, she had it, but she's got the lingering cough. So, she has a hard time speaking without coughing. Without coughing. But stay tuned. She is coming on the podcast. She's coming on. Yeah. When the cough goes away. When the cough goes away. We just don't know when. Cam, we've got some really exciting guests. We really do. For the 2026. I know. Do you want to tell people? We can talk about them. Okay. Go ahead. Yeah. We won't say the specific dates yet. No, no. We will talk about them. Okay. So? So, this is something that Cam was really passionate about last year. There were two things last year. Yes. The penguin. Yes. I really wanted the penguin. I know. But we had the penguin. Yeah, we did. But the other one, and then you were quite upset because you reached out and you never heard back. Yes. But now we've heard back. Yes. The Zamboni driver. The Zamboni driver at the Edmonton Oilers. I know. Have you never gone to a professional hockey game and in the intermission between periods, you see them cleaning the ice on the Zamboni. How do you get to be a Zamboni driver? At that level. At that level. It's the highest. I have questions. Yeah, me too. I know. With the Olympics coming up. Exactly. I have even more questions. Do you start like a hockey player? Do you start as a junior Zamboni driver in like a little rink in like rural Alberta? And you have to work your way up? You get on the Zamboni All-Star team? Or how to... It's fascinating. Have you ever just sat there and watched them go around? There's an art to it. And soon, she, and I'm going to say she... We'll have her on the podcast. We're going to have her on the podcast. I'm so excited about that. And she can tell us. I can say that that's equal almost to having the penguin on the podcast. I know, it's pretty exciting. I still look at my penguin pictures. And you know what we did here at the company I work for? We had the penguin people come to our kids' Christmas party. You did. And they brought two penguins. They brought Rocket and Yeti. Yes. It was awesome. Anyway, okay. So we got the Zamboni person coming. We got the Zamboni person. We've got... Well, our guest today, who is sick, but she's coming on now. Her name is Rachelle, and she is the owner of a wonderful boutique in Spruce Grove, Dani and Madi. Like a clothing boutique. A clothing boutique. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. And apparently, really, it's women's. It's women's. Does she do men's? No, just women's. Yeah, so that's why I've never been there. No. Yeah. But she's a great, great community supporter. Yeah. What a great story she has. And she started this, and now it's doing well. And people seem to love her clothes. Women love her clothes. It's awesome. Exactly. I'm really excited about that. We also have the owner of, coming on, Backyard Birds in Spruce Grove. Okay. This one is going to be exciting. Backyard Birds. I'm not even kidding. I know. Like, straight up, total transparency. I'm not a fan of birds. He's afraid of birds. I'm afraid. I'm afraid of birds. They scare me. And when I see them, I freak out. But she's going to come and tell us all about birds, and feeding birds, and what kind of birds, and I'm really looking forward to that. It's such a success story. She's quite young, and she's won numerous awards already. She's fabulous, so I can't wait to have her on. She has a whole store for birds. Yes. A whole store. I love it there. For birds. Pretty incredible, actually. I'm looking forward to it. And I'm hoping that by the end of that podcast, some of my fear of birds will be gone. I hope so. Me too. So see, folks, we try to help. If you're like me, and I'm not the only one, you might have a fear. You listen, and hopefully you'll have a little different idea. Yes. We have one of the owners from the Sea Change Brewery coming on. Okay, let's tell this story because this is good because a while back we had Dan Cote-Rosen on, who works for the Oilers Entertainment Group as their marketing guy. But he also is the founder of Flat Boy Burgers. And the reason we're telling you this is because Flat Boy Burgers, where they are right now, is located in the Sea Change Brewery. That's right. So, you can go in and get a Sea Change Brew, but you can get a Flatburger. But they're expanding. And their story of how they started is so cool. I know. So, and we're, I'm going to just say it, we're very fortunate to have them. Yes, we are. Because they don't often do interviews. So, I'm not going to say breaking news, but we're pretty fortunate. We are. It's going to be cool. It will be very, very cool. I'm very excited about that one. They do, like you said, they have an amazing story to tell. And so, that's going to be cool, Sea Change Brewery, and they do all kinds of really cool craft beers and drinks and things like that. And that's really awesome. And we're going to hear that. And he'll probably talk about Flat Boy Burgers a little bit. I'm sure. At Shiddy's over there. Yeah. And I just read the other day where Sea Change is opening in Calgary. And Flat Boy is opening in Beaumont. Okay. Yeah. So all these people we've had on, they're growing. Right? I'd like to say it's because of the podcast. Okay, no, but wait, let's back up there for a minute. Yes, okay. Because you were telling me the other day, where were you, that the individual told you that people came into their store because they heard it on the podcast. I was at Ben's Meats. Ben's Meats. Yes. I was buying my 25 pound turkey. It was massive. Can I just say, though, before I tell you the story, they thought they'd be really funny when I got there, because they know me, they know us, they know you. And so I arrived to pick up my, and they knew I was coming to get my turkey. So they went in the back and they brought two little chickens. And they had these big smile on their faces. And it was like, and I'm like, they thought it was so funny. Then they started laughing. And they went to the back and they brought out my big 25 pound turkey. Anyway, I went up to the front to pay. And if you've ever been to Ben's Meats, Dave's office is right by the cash place where you pay. And I said, hey, is Dave there? And he heard my voice. And he said, yeah, yeah. He goes, yeah. And so I peeked my head around the corner. And he said, Cam, I just want to tell you that somebody told us the other day that they came because they'd heard the podcast and they came and they thought it was great. And now they're a customer. Amazing. I know. See, so I'm just saying. And we've had that similar story with Mike Chadi from Wing Snob and that sort of thing. So I'm just saying, folks, we don't tell you about a place or have a guest on unless we believe in them. Agreed. That's right. And I believe in their turkeys. And their other stuff. They make a red wine salami that's unbelievable. You can't buy it anywhere else. Everybody else has stopped. I know. Not at Ben's. Yeah, it's amazing. And if you like black licorice, if you like candy. Any kind of Dutch candy. That's right. If you need wooden shoes. A wheel of cheese. A wheel of Gouda. A whole wheel of Gouda cheese. Amazing. Anyway. Yeah. So people listen. And but thank you, listeners, for going to the places that we talk about and have guests on. Yeah, support them because they're all great. Appreciate that! I know. They're really good. So we really try to support small business owners. Yes. Well, yeah, local people. Do we not also have an Olympic person coming on? Oh, I'm so excited. Because the Olympics are coming up in February. They are. And we have a special guest. Katherine Plouffe. Katherine Plouffe. Canadian National Women's Basketball Team. That's right. That's not Winter Olympics. No. Unless they play on ice. But that's Summer Olympics. But she's on the Olympic National Canadian National Team. So can't wait to have her on. I've met her and she's tall. Now, there's been a few tall guests. Well, true. Dr. Randy Gregg, Jordan Baker. Randy Gregg referred to my shortness. But anyways, nonetheless. But yeah, she's tall and she's amazing. She plays on the national team. She does basketball clinics and she works for, volunteers with Adeara, who we've had Adeara on the podcast. See, all of it. It all connects. It's just like a big universe. It connects. It's amazing. There's still some guests I'd love to have on. So if they're listening, people like maybe like Tim Cook from Apple, if he's available. I'd like to, I've mentioned that. And I'm believing that one day somebody's going to play him this and go, hey, these guys are talking about you. And he'll phone up and say, I'll be on. You never know. I hear he's retiring. So he'll need something to do. Sure. You know, so yeah, just saying. Exactly. Wouldn't you love to have the Apple guy on? Quite something. Oh, I'd ask him like, what's going to be in the new iPhone? I've got some things I'd like to talk to them about with Apple. I've got issues with Apple. I do have issues with Apple. Apple products, oh my goodness. So I guess what we're saying, is there any other guests you want to talk about? Oh, no, I think that's a good selection coming up. We're still booking. And it's going to be a great 2026. It really is, folks. I'm very excited about it. And I know you miss it when we don't have a guest, but I know you also like it when Jennifer and I just throw it out there. Well, this was a really random show. And I was a little worried because Jennifer coming to work this morning, her frame of mind was a tad, it was, with my blood pressure, it was a bit postal, it was a little high. I was a bit worried about that. Yeah. It's calmed down. It's the nice tropical green tea at the Wall Coffee Roasters. She's, she's, she's calmed down considerably. So it's good. It's all good. So anything else you want to just, you want to see if our horoscopes are correct? We've never done horoscopes. I don't. Okay. Let's see. I don't, I don't, I've never read mine. I don't, I don't even know what I am. I'll tell you what you are. What am I? You are Cancer. What? And I'm an Aries. You're an Aries. I don't know if we're supposed to get along. Do we fight? I don't know. Because you know how some signs are like. Tell us about yours. What's yours? What are you going to? Aries? Okay. And I'll tell you from my opinion if I feel this is accurate. And I'll tell you. Okay. Ready? Okay. Yes. Aries people are born doers. They like action and have no trouble jumping into any activity that they deem desirable. I'd agree with that. Yeah. To be able to relax, they first have to use up their energy. Taking a walk or playing pickleball. Playing what? Pickleball. I tried to get you to play pickleball. I know. I haven't played pickleball. You won't play. Okay. Listen. But then settling down with a nice cup of tea. Oh, come on. And a favorite book will begin to calm them. Yeah. That's you. That's true. Except for the pickleball part. Except for the pickleball. That's pretty much you. A nice cup of tea and a book. I know. Really? Yeah. Okay. You ready for you? I don't know. Okay. Okay. Cancers are dedicated to home and family. Okay. You are. That's accurate. Yep. Oh, well, I don't know about this. Nothing could be more relaxing for them than being in the kitchen stirring pots of soup or baking cookies for the family. Well, not the cookies part. I made stew over the Christmas. You did? I cooked stew. Okay. I made a recipe. I made stew. Yes. Like from scratch. Yes. I went and bought stew meat and everything. Oh, for the more career-oriented, this is you. Yeah. A soothing drink can help with stress relief. Well, no. No, no, I don't know. Is that not it? What? It didn't say what kind of drink. It doesn't. It just says a soothing drink. If it's a bubly. It just says a soothing drink. Yeah. If it's a bubly. Yeah. Can I just stop there for one second? Bubly people bring back cranberry. Anyway, that's all I'm going to say. They take it away now. Christmas is over. Anyway. Okay. I know. Is that it? Watching an animated movie with homemade popcorn is ideal. Yes. The Minions. Gru. I love the Minions. I love Gru. There are very few movies I go to on opening day. Top Gun. Yes. Because I love Top Gun. If I died and came, if I believed in reincarnation, which I don't, I would want to come back as Tom Cruise in Top Gun. Tom Cruise in Top Gun Not in anything else. No, no. Just Top Gun. And secondly, the other movie I go to that when it opening day, The Minions. The Minions is so good. I love The Minions. It's so good. I love the way they talk. I love Gru. I love all of that. So that's not far off. Yeah. Pretty accurate. I know. I really do. I've watched, I think I've seen the last Minions movie many times. But anyway, well, that's who we are. I mean, that's just who we are. That's just who we are. Yours was pretty accurate. All except the pickleball. Yeah. Other than that, that was you to a T. Right. You are a doer. You jump in. Yeah. If you see it, you're there. Right. That's amazing. I know. I know. I didn't have a hot beverage on mine, though. You did. You have your tea. Yeah, my tea. Your tea. Right. Right. Right. So that's who we are. I don't know what that means in the year of the horse or anything like that, other than, yeah, it's going to be a great year, 2026. I want it to be a good year in 2026, because right now, there's just a lot of stuff going on. There sure is. Like, not all good. Not all good. You know, the world's in a funny place right now. It is. You know? Yeah, it's a little unsettling. It's very unsettling, and you just don't know, and you wonder, okay, is it going to be a good year? And then you think, well, some things will be good, and probably some won't. I do know one thing. I do know this for a fact. The podcast is going to be great. The podcast is going to be great. And if we can bring a little levity into your lives... Levity. It's a good word. It is. Does levity mean levitate? No. No, levity means... Humor. Humor. Humor. Humor. If we can bring a little humor into your life... Brighten your day. If you listen to this podcast, and it brightens your day, that's what we're here to do. That's what we want. But you know the one thing we really want people to do this year, and I'm going to kick it off right here today. I'm going to kick it off. We really want people to subscribe. We do. Yes. We don't talk about that much on this podcast, but we really want you to subscribe. Now, can I just say, here's why you should subscribe. Number one, it's because then you will get immediate notification that a new podcast is out, Coffee In The Park with Jennifer and Cam podcast. You don't have to worry. You don't have to guess when's the next one. We always drop it on Thursdays, but you just don't have... It's going to be there for you. It doesn't mean you have to listen to it right at that moment, but it will be there. It's a reminder. It's a reminder. Which is great. It is. So subscribe. So the year of 2026, we're asking you... Is the year of subscribe. Subscription. So... It's free. While the Chinese New Year is the year of the Fire Horse, the Coffee In The Park with Jennifer and Cam New Year is subscribe. And it doesn't cost you anything to subscribe to our podcast. Not a penny. And if you don't know how to do that, all you got to do is go to our podcast on whatever platform you're listening to, and there'll be a little button that will say subscribe. And you just hit it. Or find a young person in your life and they will do it for you. That's what I have to do. Yeah, call my daughter. How do I do this? Anyway, you're right. That's what you do. And again, the beauty of it is, every Thursday around 12 noon or wherever you are in the world, you're going to get a little note on your phone that says, New episode of Coffee In The Park with Jennifer and Cam. And you'll be so excited because you could right at that moment stop everything you're doing and listen. Or you could say, no, I can't right now, but I'll listen a little later on. So this year, we want to build our subscribers. We do. Yeah. I've subscribed. I hope so. Yeah, I did. A long time ago. Did you subscribe? Of course I did. Yeah. So subscribe. Subscribe. I'm just saying. But also, tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell your family, tell your enemies. Because again, we need to make 2026 a year of peace. And I see no better way than saying, hey, I know we have differences, but I'm going to tell you, listen to Coffee In The Park with Jennifer and Cam, and hopefully it'll bring us back together. That's right. It'll bond us. I like that. So that maybe, who knows? Thursday night, you have a listening party with your enemy. You might. A little glass of wine or a bubly, a little bag of chips or cheese-ies. Or cheese-ies. Some people, won't say anything about that. Anyways, and then you just, yeah. And that's what you do. If you don't have any friends, and you know, that happens. This is a great way to make a friend. No, why are you laughing? It does happen. No, I know. It just does. Anyway, this is a good way to make a friend, because you can just say to somebody, hey. It's a good icebreaker. Yeah, you want to come over and listen to the Coffee In The Park with Jennifer and Cam. Or you know what else you could do? People don't think of this. If you're like listening to it on your phone, and you have your earbuds in, whether they're your, what do they call it? iPod, AirPod? AirPod things or whatever. Samsung, Bose, or whatever. You could be sitting there, take one out, wipe it off, and give it to the person sitting next to you and say, listen to this. Let's share. Listen to this. And they'll be like in awe. They'll be in awe that you did that, and they'll be in awe because of the podcast. That's right. That's all I'm saying. So, I'm just, I don't, I'm, I'm, that, I, that, I'd do that. Or if you're on a airplane and your a neighbor. Did you, did you read today about West, oh, I shouldn't say the airline. About, about their, they're narrowing the seats. Okay, this, I, They're not reclining anymore. This is gonna be another podcast. And there was a politician in Canada who with her family was flying and she videoed it. And her comment was, you have to buy a second seat just to fit your legs in. Like, what is that? This is, that's gonna be pet peeves part three. Anyway, I'm just, that's, I'm getting off on a tangent. But I'm just saying, share the podcast, subscribe to the podcast. Because you know what? We just, we want to bring, like Jennifer said, a little levity. That's right. I like that word, levity. I'm gonna use that word, levity, a lot. It's the word, we're gonna say it's the word of 2026. Levity? Levity. Yeah. You know how, like, the Oxford Dictionary comes up with the word of the year? I'm declaring it right now. This is gonna be our, okay, you better remember that, that on every podcast, on every podcast, we're gonna have to talk about levity. Okay, levity. It's good. Anyways, well, folks, I don't know where else we want to go with this, but. Thanks for listening. Thanks for listening. Thanks for supporting. And whatever you do this year, make 2026 a year of wings at Wing Snob. And printing. And printing at Mprint. That's right. And. You can get your own bobblehead made. Yes. Or your own. While you're eating wings. While you're eating wings. Or you're, while you could get your own Yeti water. Engraved. Tumbler. Is that what they're called? Tumbler? Yeah, Tumbler. Engraved. Then go to Wings. Yeah. Wouldn't that be great? We start this revolution of people sitting at Wing Snob with their engraved Yeti's. Just drinking out of their Yeti's. Actually, they'd probably prefer you buy it, a beverage. I was going to say. But fill your Yeti with the beverage. You could do that. I think Mike could let you do that. Yeah, I bet he would. We better ask him. We better ask. Yeah. But don't do it until we ask. We'll get back to you. We'll call Mike anyways. But yeah. So yeah, go to Wing Snob. Use Mprint. The great people. And thank you for listening. It's going to be a great year, year of levity. Year of levity. So excited. Thanks, everyone. Thanks, everyone. We'll see you next week. Oh, yeah. We already told them where to get it. Wherever you listen to podcasts or at www.coffeeinthepark.com. Right. I practiced that over the holiday. That's pretty good. www.coffeeinthepark.com. Say that 10 times. Anyway, I'm just saying thanks, everybody. Catch you, next week. We'll have a guest. Yes. Our guests will be back next week. They will. See you, everybody.
